After graduating in psychology а the University of Geneva in 1995, she spent two years in Paris, where she completed a DEA in medical and biological ethics in 1997, and carried out internships in pediatric oncology. Back in Switzerland, she began training as a psychotherapist for children with cancer. This initial experience would later permeate all the training she undertook to enrich her therapeutic tools for working with children, adolescents and adults: systemically-oriented family therapy, brief therapy, hypnotherapy, EMDR, IADC and, more recently, transpersonal approaches to accompany her patients in a more holistic and transpersonal approach.
She is currently refocusing her practice on bereavement and psychotrauma care for adults, using therapeutic and regressive hypnosis, EMDR and IADC as her main tools.
My name is Luigi Jannarone, I was born in Milan, Italy, and I am a sociologist and a gestalt-oriented counselor, scholar and practitioner of Indian-American shamanism. In the early 1990s I began my training by studying psychodynamics and falling in love with the works of Carlos Castaneda, Victor Sanchez and other authors.
Shortly thereafter I met Maurizio Balboni through whom I learned about the Andean shamanic tradition, also beginning a path of personal growth through bioenergetics and transactional analysis.
I have been to Peru and Mexico several times, traveling also to Bolivia and the United States, and have come to know the teachings of the elders of the Indian-American tradition by studying and practicing in those places with different shamans and curanderos. Since 2001 I have traveled regularly to Peru, where I am initiated by the Andean Q’eros people as “Pampamissaioq” (Priest of the Earth). Today I lead trips to Peru aimed at learning about the spiritual and shamanic practices of the Andean peoples with the participation of “Mamita” Martina Mamani, curandera and spiritual guide, Don Guillermo Soncco, shaman of the Q’eros ethnic group, and Ninoska Carbajal, psychologist and scholar of Andean shamanic culture.
I have also traveled extensively to other lands, Sri Lanka, China, Japan, Africa in search of the common roots of spirituality. I was for several years in Spain and Mexico to learn the teachings of “Abuela” Margarita Nunez, with whom I did 5 vision quests. From Abuela Margarita I received the “Chanupa,” the Sacred Pipe and had her blessing to conduct Temazcal ceremonies, sweat lodges.
I learned about the Lakota tradition in Colorado through the teachings of Doug Goodfeather, sundancer and Lakota Hunkpapa spiritual guide, from the same family as Sitting Bull and founder of the Lakota Way Healing Center in Denver.
In Italy I trained with several therapists with whom I often collaborate today. I have also deepened my studies in psychomagic and psychogenealogy, following Alejandro Jodorowsky’s seminars. I also organize men’s circles aimed at male energy awareness. As a musician, I produced and produced with the group “The Circle of Men” the CD “Men on the Way” re-proposing the ritual songs of tradition of the native peoples of the two Americas. My passion for music and power chants led me to learn how to build shamanic drums and practice the way of chanting. I also wrote a book “The Beat of the Drum” on the healing powers of the shamanic drum.
I currently organize and conduct seminars regarding Indian-American shamanism, shamanic drum building and use, counseling and psycho-genealogy seminars. I also hold individual personal growth sessions and energy treatments. I have also given seminars and been invited to give lectures in other countries such as: Peru, Mexico, Colombia, Spain, France, Holland and Switzerland.
